PLEASANTON, CA — An unidentified man seen last Saturday on the campus of Lydiksen Elementary School was a contractor for a pest control company, PPD Sgt. Marty Billdt told Patch.

The man was seen on the school's campus Saturday. The school's vice principal, a PPD sergeant, and two PUSD staff searched and cleared all buildings on the campus. Vice Principal Jennifer McCullough notified families about the incident in a Sunday email.

The man was wearing a hoodie that covered his badge, leading to the confusion, Billdt said.
