The suspect was last seen fleeing from the Valero gas station on foot.

A suspect posing as a customer robbed a gas station in Pleasanton Tuesday afternoon, according to police. Around 12:35 p.m. the man went into a Valero station in the 3100 block of Santa Rita Road.
The suspect pretended to make a purchase but pushed the cashier away from the register as soon as the drawer opened. He fled the scene on foot, headed south, with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect ran to a red sports car nearby. He was described as a black man with a thin build, roughly 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall. The suspect was wearing black jeans and a black shirt with the words “Straight Outta Cali” on the front in white lettering, according to police.
