Man Shot At, Stabbed After Fight At Pleasanton Home

The Pleasanton Police Department said a man was shot at and stabbed in the neck after a fight that began at a residence Friday night.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Police Department said a man was shot at and stabbed in the neck after a fight that began at a residence Friday night, according to a press release.

Police responded to reports of gunfire Friday at 9 p.m. in the 4800 block of Bernal Avenue. Responding officers, including Alameda County Sheriff's deputies, found a man at a nearby gas station bleeding from a stab wound to the neck.

Shell casings were recovered from the scene, and officers said his vehicle had bullet holes in it.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
