Meet Pleasanton Police Department's Newest Police Officer

PLEASANTON, CA — Fremont native Joseph Garcia was sworn in on Jan. 10 as one of the newest members of the Pleasanton Police Department. Garcia, who grew up in Brentwood and attended Los Medanos Junior College, is a transfer from the Piedmont Police Department. Garcia previously worked at the Brentwood Police Department as a community service officer.

Garcia will participate in an intense field training process before he hits the streets of Pleasanton on his own.
