New Officer Sworn In To Pleasanton Police

Kevin McKendry has served with the San Francisco and Ross police departments.

PLEASANTON, Calif. – The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Department are excited to welcome lateral Officer Kevin McKendry. This morning, while donning face coverings, Officer McKendry was sworn in by Interim Police Chief Craig Eicher.

Officer McKendry was born and raised in Lomita, California and graduated from West Torrance High School. He is a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard, an Army reserve and has 17 years of experience in law enforcement. He was an officer at the San Francisco Police Department and most recently, Ross

Police Department. While off-duty, Officer McKendry enjoys CrossFit, camping, and hiking with his family.
