Nomination Period For Municipal Officers Opens Soon
Pleasanton residents will cast their ballots for a mayor and two members of the city council in the election on November 6, 2018.

From The City of Pleasanton: The nomination period for Pleasanton municipal officers in the upcoming November General Municipal Election will begin on Monday, July 16, 2018 and close on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 5 p.m. However, if nomination papers for an incumbent are not filed by August 10, the filing period for the specific incumbent’s seat will be extended until Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 5 p.m.
Pleasanton residents will cast their ballots for a mayor and two members of the city council in the election on November 6, 2018. The full term for the Mayor is two years, while Council members serve a four-year term. In addition to voting for local government officials, voters will be asked to vote for a new governor and weigh in on 12 propositions.
