Northbound 680 Closure Canceled: Caltrans
A planned closure between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue has been canceled, with an unspecified postponement date.

PLEASANTON, CA — Caltrans announced that it is canceling a planned closure of northbound I-680 between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton. Caltrans said that there will be another closure in the area, but has not yet determined which weekend.
Caltrans did not give a reason for the change.
The closure is part of a larger repaving project of northbound I-680 between Sunol and San Ramon. Over the winter, numerous planned weekend closures were postponed due to heavy rains.

Caltrans expects to close southbound I-680 between Sunol Boulevard and Koopman Road from 10 p.m. on Friday, June 9 until 4 a.m. Monday morning, June 12. Northbound I-680 will remain open during that period.
Another closure of northbound I-680 is expected Labor Day weekend.
