OR, go to www.biddingforgood.com and search for "Community of Character", all proceeds will go toward scholarships for Pleasanton students.

Juanita Haugen, a nationally known public schools advocate and the longest-serving member ever of the Pleasanton school board, would be proud that the Community of Character program she established has become an ingrained part of our schools and community. Juanita died on March 5, 2007 at age 69 after a long battle with cancer. The scholarship is given to high school seniors who live the values of responsibility, compassion, self-discipline, honesty, respect and integrity and have given of themselves to serve others.

Details of the scholarship can be found at www.CommunityofCharacter.org.
