Orchard Supply Hardware In Pleasanton Closed
In August, Lowe's said that they intended to shutter all 99 stores nationwide by the end of the year.

PLEASANTON, CA — Orchard Supply Hardware in Pleasanton has closed. The store opened in February of 2017 after moving from Dublin.
Store closing sales at the popular hardware store started in August — the day after Lowe's abruptly announced that it planned to permanently close all Orchard Supply Hardware stores in California, Oregon and Florida.
In August, the company said that they intended to shutter all 99 stores nationwide by the end of the year. A Lowe's spokesperson said they planned to help employees during the transition.

North Carolina-based Lowe's purchased the small hardware chain in 2013. The popular San Jose-based hardware store chain was founded in 1931.
Orchard Supply Hardware was located at 4555 Rosewood St. in Pleasanton.
