Overturned Truck Prompts I-580 Sig-Alert: CHP

PLEASANTON, CA — A Sig-alert issued by the California Highway Patrol Saturday morning for westbound Interstate 580 east of Interstate 680 in Pleasanton after a tractor-trailer overturned has been lifted. At least two vehicles were involved in the collision, which was reported at about 10:30 a.m.

Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews and the CHP responded to assist. Several lanes were blocked into the early afternoon. Traffic on Dublin and Pleasanton side streets and on the freeway slowed to a crawl for several hours following the wreck. No other information is available.
