Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Pleasanton
Police are asking witnesses to come forward.

A pedestrian was hit by a car and severely injured in Pleasanton on Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The pedestrian was hit in a crosswalk at Hansen Drive and Hopyard Road at 2:46 p.m. and taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with severe injuries, police said.
The pedestrian was in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon, police said.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to police.
