PLEASANTON, CA — A fire broke out Sunday morning at Ocean Day Spa at Mission Plaza at 1989 Santa Rita Road, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. The fire was quickly contained and no one was injured, LPFD Battalion Chief James Artman told Patch.

Crews found a single-story strip mall with smoke coming out of one of the shops shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday. They were able to quickly knock the fire down, and contain it to the spa. Adjacent businesses suffered minor smoke damage, but were able to open for business after the fire was contained.

The business was not open at the time, and the business owner arrived shortly after to assist in the investigation.
