Pleasanton Garage Fire Deemed Accidental
Fire officials said the damage to the home was extensive.
PLEASANTON, CA — A garage fire that caused extensive damage to a Pleasanton home Wednesday afternoon was likely accidental, fire officials said. The blaze was reported in the 7600 block of Glenbrook Court at about 1:30 p.m.
Livermore-Pleasanton and Alameda County Fire Department crews worked together to extinguish the blaze and protect the homeowner’s belongings. Police temporarily closed Springdale Avenue and Maywood Drive during the fire.
No one was injured during the blaze. Fire officials said the damage to the home was extensive but have not yet determined a dollar loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
