Pleasanton Ghost Walk Tour Tickets On Sale Now: Halloween 2017

In 2015, a photo taken on one of the tours seemed to show the eerie shape of a person peeking out of a mirror located above Handles.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Museum on Main announces the return of the incredibly popular Ghost Walk, a two hour guided tour of Pleasanton’s most haunted sites in the downtown area. Advanced ticket purchases are recommended as the annual event sells out quickly.

During the tours, volunteer docents share their creepy knowledge about Main Street’s infamous past. In 2015, a photo taken during one of the Museum on Main’s annual Ghost Walk tours seemed to show the shape of a person peeking out from inside the corner of the same mirror at the end of the hallway behind the actress’ shoulder as she spoke to those on the tour.

The next day, Patch returned to the hallway to try to duplicate the photo, but to no avail. However, a shadowy figure showed up in the lower part of the mirror in one of the photos that were taken in the empty hallway.

One year later, while researching the ghosts of Pleasanton, a third photo, taken with yet another camera and by a different photographer, caught the shadow shape, which appeared slightly lighter and just a few inches back from the shadow in the 2015 photo.

Executive Director, Jim DeMersman notes, “Ghost Walk is a unique experience and has successfully brought the haunted side of Pleasanton to ‘life’ through the stories and experiences collected from psychics, ghost hunters, and shop workers over the years. Ghost Walk is more spooky than it is scary. It’s not a haunted house type of program where people jump out to scare you.”

Local teen improv students from the City of Pleasanton’s Creatures of Impulse will portray roles of the various ghosts believed to be living in Pleasanton.

DeMersman said, “The improv team is a great addition to Ghost Walk. They are so fun playing the many roles of the downtown ghosts and we are pleased they will be back again this year.
