Pleasanton High Schools Team Up To Raise Money For Athletics

The athletics programs are funded through donations. Buy a 'P-Town Bowl Car Giveaway' raffle ticket and you may win a new car.

PLEASANTON, CA — Foothill and Amador Valley high schools are teaming up this year to raise money to help support their athletics programs. School athletics programs do not receive any funding from the district. All donations to the teams and programs help pay for uniforms, equipment, coaches, officials and transportation.

The “P-Town Bowl Car Giveaway” is an easy way to support the local teams. A 2018 Chevy Cruze, sponsored by Dublin Chevrolet and ZOHO, will be raffled off during at the halftime show at the Amador Valley versus Foothill football game. The annual game, which will be held this year on Oct. 26 at Amador Valley High, is a fun rivalry years in the making.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the teams and fund a new stadium field at Foothill. The new turf will be used by athletics, the band and various class room events. Tickets for the raffle cost $20 and may be purchased at either school.
