Pleasanton Hosts Bike To Work Day Energizer Station
Cyclists can head to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station from 7 to 9 a.m. to receive free bike bags with giveaways from regional sponsors.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton and Dublin are joining forces to celebrate National Bike Month with events and giveaways.
On May 18, which has been designated as National Bike to Work Day, cyclists can enjoy Energizer Stations throughout the Bay Area. In the Tri-Valley, cyclists can head to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station or the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station from 7 to 9 a.m. to receive free bike bags with giveaways from regional sponsors.

The Bay Area Bike 2 Work Day is organized by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, in partnership with local bike coalitions. The event is free to participate in, and there are no registration fees, all that participants need is the desire to ride their bicycle to work that day. Riders are invited to pledge to ride by visiting the Bay Area Bike to Work Day website, here.
On the day of the event, there are a number of activities and events taking place throughout the Bay Area. There are energizer stations set up along major bike routes, where participants can stop for snacks, drinks, and information. There are also a number of group rides taking place, led by experienced cyclists.
