Pleasanton Library To Close April 17-May 15

The library will close for a rooftop replacement, but all services and programs will continue.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Library will be temporarily closed to the public from April 17 to May 15 while the roofline windows are replaced, the city announced. Preparatory construction will begin April 10 with the removal of roofline windows. The library will remain open the week of April 10 but some areas near the windows will be closed.

During the full closure, the city will provide uninterrupted access to materials and programs. The library will run programs at offsite locations and online, provide an option to pick up materials through Sidewalk Service, and extend due dates for checked out items.

Sidewalk Service will allow users to reserve items online or by calling 925-931-3400 and arrange to pick them up during the following times:

  • Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Staff will host Storytime at the Cultural Arts Building, and the Book Club, Film Club, and Coding Club will meet online.
