Pleasanton Middle School Band to Perform at State Capitol
The Harvest Park Band has been selected as one of the finest middle school musical ensembles in California.

The Harvest Park Middle School Symphonic ‘A’ Concert Band has been invited to perform in Sacramento for the California Music Education Advocacy Day “Stand Up for Music” on the North Capitol Steps. The performance is on Thursday, May 21.
Stand Up 4 Music (www.standup4music.org) is a coalition of professional music education organizations united to advocate for music education in California’s schools. The festival is very competitive and the Harvest Park Band has been selected as one of the finest middle school musical ensembles in California.
In addition to the California Music Education Advocacy Day the invitation also includes a performance at the prestigious CMEA State Band and Orchestra Festival, held at the Mondavi Center on the campus of UC Davis, Friday, May 22.
