Pleasanton Offering 3 Free Biking Workshops
The workshops are offered in partnership with Bike East Bay and are open to all levels. The first session is Saturday.
PLEASANTON, CA — The city of Pleasanton is partnering with neighboring cities and Bike East Bay to offer a series of free bike workshops designed to help riders of all ages improve their safety skills and build confidence. Riders will learn the rules of the road, learn to equip bicycles, fit your helmet, use different types of bike infrastructure, and avoid common hazards.
The workshops are open to all experience levels, and take place at the Pleasanton Amador Recreation Center at 4443 Black Avenue.
- April 18: Urban Cycling 101 (Day 1): 12 - 2 p.m.
- April 25: Family Cycling Workshop: 12-3 p.m.
- May 2: Urban Cycling 101 (Day 2): 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
