The application process is only open once a year, so students interested in this opportunity should apply before the Oct. 25 deadline.
PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton residents between the ages of 14 and 20 who are interested in a law enforcement career might want to check out the Pleasanton Police Department's Explorer Program.
The program offers year-round, volunteer positions that allow high school and college students to “explore” what it’s like to have a career in law enforcement. In the Pleasanton program, teens and young adults learn about the law and assist officers and the department in various community events during the year.
The application process is only open once a year, so students interested in this opportunity should apply before the deadline of Oct. 25 at 5 p.m.
