Pleasanton Police Arrest Driver With Ghost Guns, Drugs
Pleasanton police arrested a man on searchable probation who had drugs and ghost guns in his car Monday afternoon, the department said.
PLEASANTON, CA —Pleasanton police officers arrested a man who allegedly possessed recovered drugs and a P80 ghost gun, the department said Tuesday.
Officers were conducting a routine patrol check near Johnson Drive when they found a man they say was convicted of a felony and on searchable probation. During the search, officers found crystal meth and a loaded ghost gun, which was not serialized or registered. The man was arrested and taken to Santa Rita Jail, police said.
On Wednesday, Feb. 2, Livermore police seized several assault weapons, ammunition, methamphetamine, and other paraphernalia from a driver passed out at the wheel of a running car at 1:45 a.m. The driver was also a convicted felon on probation, who was later arrested.
