Pleasanton Police Car Involved In Crash While Responding To Emergency
A police car with its lights and sirens on was involved in a crash Saturday afternoon, PPD officials said.
PLEASANTON, CA â A Pleasanton police car responding to an emergency service call was involved in a collision Saturday, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
On Saturday at around 3:30 p.m., a patrol car with lights and sirens activated responding to an emergency call was involved in a traffic collision at the intersection of Division and Fair streets, according to PPD Lt. Nicholas Albert.
Both the officer and the other involved driver were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, Albert said.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating. PPD said it will not release any further information on the case.
