Pleasanton Police Department Welcomes Lateral Officer, Dispatcher

Officer Imani Hiller-Bateau and Dispatcher Audra Curtis are joining the Pleasanton PD.

The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Department are excited to welcome first responders, Officer Imani Hiller-Bateau and Dispatcher Audra Curtis.

Officer Hiller-Bateau was born and raised in Berkeley, California where she graduated from Berkeley High School. She first became interested in law enforcement while taking criminal justice classes at Merritt College. Hiller-Bateau worked as a police cadet prior to becoming an officer for Oakland Police Department in 2018.

Dispatcher Audra Curtis was born and raised in Trumann, Arkansas. Curtis was inspired to pursue a career in law enforcement when she experienced firsthand the care and consideration from dispatchers. Before joining the Pleasanton Police Department, Curtis worked in the emergency room for Stanford Health Care-ValleyCare.
