Pleasanton Police Rescue 2 Puppies From Stolen Vehicle
Police found two young dogs in the back seat of a car reported as stolen.
PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police officers rescued two puppies from what they say was a stolen vehicle.
Officers discovered a stolen vehicle on Sunday, Jan. 15 at a gas station on the 6700 block of Santa Rita Road, according to a police department report. As officers approached the car, a man reportedly ran out from the front passenger side of the car. Officers eventually found the man hiding under a car in a nearby parking garage.
The man, identified as Marvin Watson of Stockton, was taken into custody and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

Officers found two young puppies inside the car. The puppies were taken to a shelter and are up for adoption.
