Pleasanton Road-Rage Victim Dead, Charges Upgraded To Murder: PD
Tracy police said the victim of a shooting that's likely tied to a Pleasanton road rage incident has died.
PLEASANTON, CA — The victim of a Tracy shooting that likely began as a road-rage incident on I-580 in Pleasanton has died, according to the Tracy Police Department.
Investigators believe that the fatal shooting on Aug. 4 started as a road-rage incident between a silver/gray Jeep Wrangler and a white Nissan cargo van on the eastbound lanes of I-580 near Pleasanton.
Tracy police responded to multiple 911 calls regarding shots fired in the 700 block of West Clover Road. Officers found a man with life-threatening injuries, who was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. That man has been identified as Ryan Wood, a 61-year-old man from Manteca, according to the TPD.

The two suspects, Eduardo Tarvin, 23 and Jacob Nevarez, 21, both of Lodi, were taken into custody Friday afternoon thanks to license plate reading technology. Their charges have been upgraded from attempted murder to murder.
Tracy police said that the two suspects are accused of multiple road rage and weapon brandishing incidents over the past few months.
