PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Unified School District Board will meet Thursday evening to begin drawing trustee regions. Following an October 2021 resolution, school board members will henceforth represent five geographical districts, rather than represent the community at-large.

Thursday’s meeting will be the first of five meetings in which resident and current trustees can learn more about the proposed districts. It will focus on the criteria and the process through which the map will be determined, and present the community with opportunities to consult the demographer drawing the map.

The final map will be approved on March 22 ahead of the November election. See here for a meeting schedule, and here for the three proposed trustee maps.
