PLEASANTON, CA — Construction is slated to begin soon for new classrooms at Amador Valley and Foothill high schools.
The Pleasanton Unified School District is inviting the public to join the virtual groundbreaking ceremonies Thursday. Amador Valley's ceremony runs from 5 to 5:30 p.m., while Foothill's ceremony runs from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. Both will be livestreamed here.
The new classroom buildings will replaced leased portables. Construction will be funded by Measure I1 funds, which Pleasanton voters passed in 2016.
