PUSD Campus Projects To Continue Amid Shelter-In-Place
The rebuild of Lydiksen Elementary School was among the projects that got the green light during an emergency meeting Tuesday.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday to allow infrastructural projects to proceed amid the shelter-in-place order just extended by Alameda County.
The vote came during an emergency meeting called Wednesday to address upcoming projects including some to improve telecommunications, HVAC and roofing, and rebuild the Harvest Park Library and Lydiksen Elementary School.
Under the shelter-in-place order, Alameda County residents may leave their homes only for essential business and exercise. The board found the projects were essential because their completion was necessary to ensure PUSD business continues as normal.
