The lunch program, which offers meals to local students under age 18, will pause after Monday, resume on July 13, and then run into August.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Unified School District’s June meal service will end on Monday before it takes a break that will extend until July 12th, school officials have announced.

In order to assist local families as much as possible, the district will do a three-day pack on Monday before the lunch service program will be suspended beginning Tuesday. Following the pause, meal service will begin again on July 13 and run through Aug. 7 before the school year begins on Aug. 11.

No-cost meals will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Alisal Elementary School and Pleasanton Middle Schools from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The Alameda Community Foodbank has also committed to providing groceries on Fridays as long as the school district is serving meals.
