Pleasanton Schools Hold All Activities Inside Due To Smoke

A Spare the Air alert has been issued for the week due to the smoke from the Camp Fire.

PLEASANTON, CA — Students in Pleasanton will have recess, lunch and physical education classes inside Tuesday due to the smoke from the massive Camp Fire burning in Butte County. School district officials notified parents about the decision by email.

“We will continue to monitor air quality conditions should additional adjustments be necessary,” district officials said via email.

A Spare the Air alert has been issued for the Bay Area for every day this week through Friday because forecasters say winds will continue to blow smoke through East Bay.
