Pleasanton Street Closed Due To Fallen Tree: CHP
A large tree is blocking a road in both directions Tuesday morning.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton-Sunol Road is closed in both directions at Happy Valley Road due to a fallen tree as of Tuesday morning at 10:23 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Crews are on their way as of that time.
The closure comes during a storm bringing rain, thunderstorms, heavy winds, and an extreme cold warning.
In the Tri-Valley, flooding has been reported on I-680 southbound near Sycamore Valley Road in Danville, and two traffic incidents have been reported on I-680 northbound and southbound south of Pleasanton, according to 511.org.

The city of Pleasanton provides free sandbags to residents at 3333 Busch Road. Sandbags are located in the parking lot under a brown tarp, and can be picked up any time. Zone 7 also provides a self-service sandbag location at the Parkside Administrative Building at 5997 Parkside Drive. Residents should bring their own shovels to both locations.
Flooding can be reported to the Operations Services Department between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 925-931-5500. Outside business hours, residents can call the Pleasanton Police Department at 925-931-5100.
