Pleasanton Walmart Robbed: PPD

The robbery was reported a few hours after another at a Walmart Neighborhood Market in San Ramon. Both suspects are at-large.

PLEASANTON, CA — Two individuals robbed the Walmart on Rosewood Avenue in Pleasanton last Friday evening, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

Walmart loss prevention told police that at 10:55 p.m. Friday, two individuals entered the store, grabbed cash boxes, and ran away to a getaway car. Pleasanton officers located the cash boxes abandoned near Old Santa Rita Road and Rosewood Drive. The store reported a loss of $341.

No injuries were reported, and police did not say whether or not the suspects were armed.

Earlier that day at around 2 p.m., two suspects attempted to rob the Walmart Neighborhood Market in San Ramon, according to the San Ramon Police Department. The two suspects reportedly attempted to remove the cash drawers unsuccessfully, and fled before police arrived. No weapons were seen, and Walmart reported no loss.

It is unknown whether these were the same suspects, but the suspects in both cases are at-large. Anyone with information on either case can call the Pleasanton Police Department at 925-931-5100, or the San Ramon Police Department at 925-973-2700.
