Pleasanton Youth Excellence In Arts Awards Applications Available

Applications are open for high school students who excel in visual, musical, or literary arts.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council is accepting applications for its annual Youth Excellence in Arts Awards, which are open to artistically gifted Pleasanton students in grades 9-12.

The YEA! Awards offer both cash awards and grant funding ranging from $100 to $1000 to young artists interested in visual arts, music, or literary arts. Young musicians can also apply for the Don Lewis Say Yes to Music Award, which addresses a demonstrated need. Both awards are supported by the Rotary Club of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council.

Applications are available through March 1 at pleasantonarts.org. Awards will be granted at the YEA! Awards Reception on March 22 at the Valley Community Church in Pleasanton.
