Pleasanton's National Night Out 2017: Register Now
The popular event sends a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

PLEASANTON, CA — National Night Out is a crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch co-sponsored locally by the Pleasanton police department. Almost 40 million people in more than 16,000 communities will join forces on August 1 to celebrate National Night Out’s 34th annual event.
National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug awareness
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The police department has been participating in National Night Out for 15 years. Celebrations vary from potlucks to ice cream socials and BBQs.

If you are interested in hosting a National Night Out Party, visit www.pleasantonpd.org and download an application or pick one up in the front lobby of the Pleasanton Police Department.
