Power Fully Restored To Pleasanton's PG&E Customers

The threat for fire danger still remains high, according to the National Weather Service.

PLEASANTON, CA — By Friday morning, power was fully restored to all PG&E customers in Pleasanton, according to PG&E. A map from the utility shows just one customer is without power Friday morning in the city.

Power was turned off in some areas within Pleasanton around 11 p.m. Wednesday night and was slowly being restored Thursday.

The East and North Bays had Red Flag Warnings in effect until 5 p.m. Thursday. The Red Flag Warning for the Santa Cruz Mountains expired at noon on Thursday. Even as the warnings expired, the threat for fire danger remains high, according to the National Weather Service.

Transmission lines are being inspected around Central and Northern California, and lines are being re-energized once they are repaired.

Classes are in session Friday across the Pleasanton Unified School District.

Nearby Dublin and Livermore escaped significant outages, although San Ramon saw several thousand PG&E customers lose power Wednesday night. As of Friday, power has been fully restored to the Contra Costa County city.
