MAKE A DIFFERENCE FESTIVAL in Pleasanton features Volunteerism & Emergency Preparedness for Families
The festival will focus on ways to get involved with the Tri-Valley community through volunteer service, as well as helping families to prepare for emergencies. (A great new year’s resolution).

At the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS – 72 Hour Kits, Water Storage, Food Storage, First Aid, Communication Plans, how to store important documents. The Pleasanton Police Department will hold police dog demos at 11am, noon and 1pm, and will bring a SWAT vehicle. The Fire Department will bring a truck.

COMMUNITY SERVICE – About 40 non-profits will explain their community service volunteer opportunities. This is a wonderful opportunity for students needing to perform community service and others just wishing to “give back” and enrich their own lives, especially seniors.
The festival is free to the public, come anytime and learn how to give service through community involvement and prepare your family for emergencies.
