Officers were alerted to the driver after they heard him yelling from his SUV.

PLEASANTON, CA — A man was arrested in Pleasanton on suspicion of driving under the influence after allegedly leading police on a short pursuit Wednesday. Police said several motorcycle officers in the Pleasanton Gateway Shopping Center on Bernal Avenue heard yelling coming from a white Lexus SUV.
When officers tried to contact the driver, he sped away and committed "numerous vehicle code violations" while crossing Bernal Avenue to Koll Center Parkway, police said. The driver, later identified as Jorgie Jaime Jr., evaded officers and eventually stopping at Valley and Bernal avenues.
