On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to welcome you to attend a PUSD Board Facilities Workshop on Tuesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. in the District Office Board Room.

To inform our community of progress on Measure I1 projects and continue our discussion of a potential general obligation bond for March 2020, we will review project updates regarding facility improvements funded by Measure I1 and Proposition 39 as well as the Harvest Park Middle School Library. We will also provide financial updates regarding the first and second issuances of Measure I1, as well as future issuances.

Finally, we will host a presentation and discussion about potential bond projects, based on the District’s 2018 Facilities Master Plan and informed by recent community polling results, as well as a timeline for a future general obligation bond. The workshop presentation will be available on the District’s website on Monday, October 21.

While no action will be taken by the Board, members will provide direction regarding a potential bond resolution for March 2020, as well as a proposed projects list. All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend and/or watch the Board workshop on Tri-Valley TV (Channel 28 or livestream online here). Public comments will be taken as part of this meeting, as we welcome all community input. You may also email pusdinfo@pleasantonusd.net.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement around our current and future facilities improvement.

Sincerely,

David Haglund

Superintendent
