Rage Room Opening Next Week In Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA — There's a lot to be mad about these days, but now there's a healthy outlet for it.

National rage room franchise iSmash will celebrate the opening its first West Coast location in Pleasanton at 4275 Rosewood Drive on Feb. 7.

iSmash will offer a series of rage rooms, where guests can smash up to 80 glass items, 8 electronic devices, and even a car windshield for up to 50 minutes. Prices start at 20 items for 20 minutes for $50 per person.

The location will also feature splatter rooms, where guests can throw a whole rainbow's worth of glowing paint at the walls of a dark room. Guests will be able to come individually or with large groups for birthday parties or team building retreats. All materials are supplied, and guests are welcome to bring their own materials.

The Pleasanton location will be owned by East Bay residents Michael Hardman and Herman Yang, who currently work in insurance and financial planning.

“Opening the first iSmash on the West Coast right here in Pleasanton is incredibly exciting,” said Hardman. “We wanted to create an experience that feels energetic, polished, and welcoming— something people can come back to again and again, whether they’re celebrating or just need a release.”
