Relay for Life is an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society which honors Cancer Victims, Survivors and those fighting the battle against cancer.

This year's Tri-Valley event is held at Granada High School in Livermore, on Sat/Sun, June 21-22, 2019 for the communities of Danville, San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and Sunol.

The event features walking around the track by team members continuously relaying around the track for 24 hours signifying that the fight against cancer never stops. The Opening Ceremony is followed by an inspirational survivor's lap which is the first lap the day, followed by another lap where caregivers join.
