Replica Gun Found During Pleasanton Traffic Stop, Cops Say
Police said they also found heroin, MDMA, and drug paraphernalia in the car.

PLEASANTON, CA — A replica gun was found during an early morning traffic stop in Pleasanton last week, police officials said. Hayward resident Tony Azevedo, 33, and Daniel Abernathy, 28, were arrested after police stopped their car in the block of 3700 block of Hopyard Rd at about 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 1.
Police said they found heroin, MDMA, which is commonly known as Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a fake handgun in the car. Both men were booked on suspicion of multiple charges into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. No other information was available.
