Road Closures: Foothill Band Review Parade 2018

The popular parade, which will feature 40 bands, will take place on Saturday morning.

PLEASANTON, CA — Several downtown roads will be closed Saturday during the 44th annual Foothill Band Review Parade. The parade, which started in 1974, features 33 middle and high schools from all over Northern California.

On Oct. 27, the parade will step off at 9 a.m. in front of Amador Valley High and proceed down Main Street. It is free and open to the public.

The field show portion of the review will be held at Foothill High School between 2:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.Traffic on Foothill Road and nearby side streets may be heavy Saturday. Field shows admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Downtown road closures will begin at 6:30 a.m. through 2 p.m.

  • Del Valle Parkway between Main and Hometown Way
  • Vervais Road at Santa Rita Road
  • Santa Rita Road/Main Street from Black Avenue to Abbie Street
  • Rose Avenue between Main Street and Peters Avenue
  • Angela Street from Main Street to Peters Avenue

The following streets will be closed to through or cross traffic at Main Street:
