PLEASANTON, CA — A new casual restaurant will open this summer in downtown Pleasanton. Salt Craft Eatery, owned by Texas native Matt Greco, the former Executive Chef at The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, will use many ingredients raised or grown in the Tri-Valley area. The menu will be driven by the principles of sustainable cooking, according to a statement from Salt Craft.

The eatery, which will offer patio seating, will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will offer homemade breads, salads, entrees, desserts and breakfast pastries. Customers can dine in or order food to-go.

“Salt Craft’s beverage menu is locally-inspired and consists of craft beers, California wines and house-made sodas that will be selected seasonally to pair with the evolving menu,” the company said in a statement.
