San Francisco Giants Day in Pleasanton
Fans lined up to see the world series trophy at the Stoneridge Mall and celebrate the San Francisco Giants' victory.
The San Francisco Giant's World Series Trophy traveled through the East Bay this week making a stop at Pleasanton's Stoneridge Shopping Center. Fans lined up, some for hours, to get a once-in-a-lifetime glimpse of the trophy.
Fans got a chance to take a picture of the two-foot high, sterling silver trophy on display in the Grand Court Wednesday afternoon. Pleasanton was one of 30-plus cities where the trophy travelled, starting Jan. 4. The trophy tour will end April 8, at AT&T Park in San Francisco for the Giants home opener game with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
