Section of Foothill Road Closed Due To Downed Power Lines

PLEASANTON, CA — A section of Foothill Road is closed this afternoon due to downed power lines, fire officials said. The wires were reported near the Pleasanton Ridge Park staging area at 4:50 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Fire crews have closed Foothill Road between the park entrance and Castlewood Drive. There was no estimate of when the road will reopen.
