LIVERMORE, CA — What can be better than the sun glinting off the water, surrounded by glorious green fields? Tvisha Joshi snapped these two beautiful photos of Lake Del Valle - one from afar, colored a light bluish silver, and another from up close, shimmering deep blue.

Del Valle Regional Park has partially opened after weeks of heavy rain. As of Feb. 4, the Arroyo Staging Area and the East Shore Trail are open, but all other areas remain closed due to flood repair.
