Stoneridge Creek Residents Connect with Middle Schoolers

On Saturday, May 11, Stoneridge Creek, a senior living community in Pleasanton, hosted their first "Meet the Students" event. Five students from Fallon Middle School in Dublin, visited the community as part of the school's community outreach program.

Stoneridge Creek is promoting the importance of intergenerational connections between seniors and children in the Bay Area. Recent statistics show intergenerational events such as "Meet the Students" help demonstrate to the young generation that seniors still have much to offer, and help seniors better understand and appreciate the younger generation.

The students handed out handmade cards with personal messages, and spoke with the residents about their past experiences.
