'Suspicious' Man In Stolen Car Arrested In Pleasanton: Cops

Police said John Ruybal also had a felony warrant for the sale of narcotics.

PLEASANTON, CA — An Antioch man was arrested in Pleasanton earlier this month after undercover officers noticed him acting suspiciously, police said. The man, later identified as 42-year-old John Ruybal, was allegedly driving a stolen Cadillac Escalade when they stopped him on on Johnson Drive.

Police said Ruybal, who had a felony warrant for the sale of narcotics, also had shaved keys, counterfeit money, methamphetamine and two collapsible stun gun batons. Ruybal was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges and was booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, according to police.
