The Amador Valley High girls lacrosse team will try to snag the North Coast Section Division I title on its home field on Friday evening.
The top ranked Dons will take on second ranked Carondelet High, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Amador Valley High squad is ranked number one in the state and the nation. They have compiled a 21-1 record. They've won 16 contests in a row, including a 10-9 victory over Carondelet on April 10.
The Carondelet squad has put together a 20-3 record. They've won nine in a row.
