Traffic on I-580 Backed Up For Miles
A big rig had blocked the transition ramp from I-580 to I-680. (Breaking)
PLEASANTON, CA - Westbound traffic on I-580 is backed up from the I-680 interchange all the way to Livermore because of a big rig that was blocking the transition ramp.
A special tow truck got stuck in traffic, slowing the recovery process. The truck has now been cleared, but it will take some time for traffic to recover. A sig-alert has been canceled.
The CHP recommends using an alternate route.
